Wine under $5 that isn’t going to murder you the next day.

Well, friends! 13 hangovers later, much experimentation, and a teetering will to live – I have come out on top. A bottle of wine under $5 that isn’t gonna make you puke at work the day after drinking it!

Despite my fancy looking lifestyle, I am as broke as they come. You know that the reason I made Pourstyles is for other POUR people, right? Because that’s exactly what I am. Yes, I own a lot of pretty clothes and somehow drink wine every single night. (hint * that’s where my paychecks go.)  But don’t let the glittery lifestyle fool you. I would be the most stylish and cheeky homeless lady on the block without a little help from my friends. FOR SURE. Anyways, this is clearly not a blog about being responsible. Let’s get back to the cheap wine!

As I regularly wander the market with only $15 in my pocket, I am obviously on the hunt for DIRT CHEAP wine. There are unfortunately A LOT of misses. I mean, it’s rare NOT to find a miss when you’re poverty shopping for alcohol. But, because I love you all so dearly, I have succeeded in finding an EHH+ quality vino! HUZZAH! The Forest Ville 2016 Pinot Noir is $3.99 PEOPLE. $3.99!!! Do I recommend finishing the entire bottle? NOPE. SURE DON’T! But I have definitely conquered ALMOST a full bottle and woken up without a hangover in sight. Unreal. This is a pretty typical California Pinot Noir with notes of plum, raspberry, and that dirt/mushroom combo that I ADORE in a Pinot. The only giveaway that this is on the cheaper side, is the high acidity and alcohol taste. Y’all knew it wasn’t gonna be PERFECT. I think it’s pretty damn good, and it certainly does the job that wine is supposed to !

What do you think about cheap wine? Terrified or so into it? x Arielle
