The Year of the Mocktail.
The last 2 years have been a ride of drinking too much wine indoors and throwing our mental and physical health into second place. This new year I am trading in my wine for some much needed mocktails.
Mocktail – A cocktail sans alcohol.
Yes, I did create a blog and brand circulating wine. And yes, I did graduate from wine school and start my entire business around alcohol. But as we grow, so do our brands. I’m drinking less alcohol these days, so Pourstyles will start to reflect that. This new year is all about health and happiness – inside and out.
I have been loving a refreshing drink to replace my usual dehydrating mix of sugar and alcohol and now that I have created a few stunning recipes, I’m not sure that I’ll ever be going back.

There is literally nothing more simple than this, yet it is so refreshing and the bitterness of the pomegranate really mimics the taste of alcohol. Wake up feeling refreshed and energized and hydrated.
Not only does this cocktail taste delicious and remove the need for the next days hangover, but there are also many beauty and health benefits that come attached to the 3 simple ingredients.

Lemon jump starts your digestion and is ultra cleansing for your gut which ultimately means for your skin.
It’s hard being alcohol free when you are so used to your nightly routine of pouring that glass of wine. It’s also tricky in social situations when so many interactions require ‘grabbing a drink’. But I know in this new year I am focusing on my mental health as well as my physical energy, and mocktails are a fantastic way to stick to that routine without lowering your frequency.
